According to ARELLO (Association of Real Estate License Law Officials), online students scored 22% higher on real estate exams than their “classroom” counterparts. Almost every study shows online students doing at least as well and in most cases much better than students in a classroom. This can be for a variety of reasons including:
1) the ability to learn when ready and not being forced to listen to a lecture at the end of long day of work
2) the ability to instantly review material over again if it's not completely understood the first time
